BenchMark

Not for the Olympics.

For the rest of us.

Why this exists

Almost every running app is built around the fastest five percent, and the effect is that everyone else opens it and feels slow. But most runners are mid-pack, and most of us always will be. That is completely fine. BenchMark is a scoreboard built for the middle instead of the front.

Who it's for

It is for the person who runs three or four times a week, has a goal race on the calendar or just a rough distance they are working toward, and wants some company and a bit of friendly competition along the way. Not a training plan. Not a lecture.

The mid-pack philosophy

You are compared with people training for the same thing at roughly your level, not with the whole internet. Progress and consistency count for as much as raw pace here. Nobody is "winning" — you are all just showing up, week after week.

What we won't do

No streaks held over your head as guilt. No "you're falling behind" notifications. We will not sell your data, and there is no leaderboard you cannot opt out of.
